WRESTLEMANIA SPOILERS AHEAD
Ok, overall opinion? Wrestlemania sucked donkey-balls, and I had first thought it was going to be amazing. Didn't like the ending, at all, and I'm getting so bored of the three-way with John, Miz and Rock now. Some highlights, won't deny it, but there was just so much shitness that I just... I'm not the only one who was disappointed, a friend texting me just before the end to say how disappointing she found it. Almost not worth twagging college for, tbh with you.
As a warning, here and now, this may be all over the place because I can't remember exactly what was going on when. But, here we go. Starting off with Edge and ADR was surprising, though was indeed buzzed to see Christian being there. I swear,, he and ADR better have a proper feud soon or Imma be pissed. The way he chased Rodriguez was funny as, and I'm glad they levelled Brodus Clay because, gah, get off my TV. Was surprised that Edge won because for months online they've been toting ADR as champ. If that had been my car that they had totalled I may well have nearly cried... though I personally maintained that ADR was only upset because Christian wasn't there to kiss his injuries better xD. Thought it wasn't a bad opening, and that both ADR and Edge had done pretty awesome... we all giggled at the thought of Edge concussing himself off of that giant tiatron cube that they had in the ring though.
The eight-man was disappointing indeed, though I lol'd at the way Santino came out and what he was wearing. It appears that red was the predominant colour at WM this year. Pretty bummed that we didn't get to see a bit more action, though I suppose we shoulda seen that coming really given who was involved. And, is it just me of a) Heath is the one always on the receiving end of a knock-out punch, and b) the Intercontinental just looks like a toy when Wade has hold of it? The belt's too small and trim for a big guy like Wade lol. Not too sure what I think of Cody's new theme, and the sheer obviousness of the mask not hiding anything, but the tiatron was quite cool in its own way-- from Dashing to apparently disfigured. Rey's costume was Ok but made him look weird. Coddles, whatever those new trunks are about get rid of them; they just looked far too weird on you, and I already miss the mirrored jacket xD Still: BB actually won! And I will admit that I did not see that coming! Celebration backstage with Teddy fo' sho'!
May Young segement kinda obvious, the Snoop Dogg thing was rather shit-- amused at how very manly Hornswoggle sounds when he speaks normally. Bellas looked somewhat nice, though I still don't like 'em, and for a minute we actually didn't recognise Beth Phoenix... I thought it was Natalya! King and Cole's match I was v looking forward too, especially when Stone Cold came out on the quad and scared the shit outta Cole and Jack. I think that they played it off quite well with the whole Cole taking Jack's cheap shots and running with them, since he obviously can't wrestle, and then Stone Cold beating Jack and King turning the ankle lock on Cole. The way King smashed his face in on the Cole-Mine was win. The gold in Jack's hair made me giggle, as did Booker T being stunnered because you knew someone had to. Anonymous GM totally destroyed my buzz about it, and they're obviously going to run with this storyline longer. Josh getting stunnered ruined the whole thing on top of that for me, since it was just so random and stupid.
Randy and Punk was pretty good, though because of personal reasons Punk mocking Randy limping really annoyed me, much like when Mr McMahon did it to Brett Hart when he was supposedly in a cast. We thought the ending was abrupt, but pretty awesome, though we were sure Punk was going to turn Randy's own punt against him and take him out with it or something. Must admit I was expecting someone to come out and interfere in some manner, though it didn't happen. The kicks were pretty vicious and I liked how he and Punk really took it to one another. Also-- LEGACY IN THE PROMO PRE-MATCH!!! Sorry, that excited me more than half of the other stuff in WM haha. Pleased Randy won, just 'cause hopefully they'll disband the New Nexus soon since they just don't do fuck-all and it's boring now, though a Punk win would have been interesting too. All in all not bad.
Knew Snooki was going to get the win, though was partially impressed with the flips even though it was apparent then move wouldn't have really hurt. Lol'd at the way Michelle kicked Layla in the face, 'cause, tch, funny as, and I'm glad that Michelle got pinned. Apparently the Divas are all pissed off that that Snooki got a chance at WM (let alone a win) when they bust their arses all year around hoping for such a chance, and she isn't even a wrestler. And, also, they're all pissed about Michelle McCool always getting on TV, and from being the only two allowed to speak at the HOF for Sunny, since McCool does nothing backstage and doesn't do house-shows since she "has to be at home to take care of the Undertaker" and the Divas are getting sick of it. We have the bad feeling that Snooki will one day end up in the HOF though for her appearance, and rumour has it that they're looking to make her a Diva :/ it's just weird.
Knew Hunter was going to lose right from the beginning and we fast-forwarded most of the match. Thought the Viking thing at the beginning was cool but too down-played and 'Taker doing nothing was weird. Thought it was shit that Hunter tapped, especially with how 'Taker was so smashed afterwards (since that made no sense and just proves how he can not go on anymore) and was also disappointed with finding that the rumours about Shawn doing something to cost Hunter the match not happening since that would have been an interesting angle to play on. We're betting that 'Taker will retire on 20-0 streak next year, vanishing off for months at a time as usual, since he can't do continual performances. And, as a side-thought, who else has a feeling that those Tough Enough odd-bods are gonna be brought into a storyline somewhere?
John and Miz's match was good, until the end. Also, A-Ri, how fucking flamoyant, big time, and distracting, was that waistcoat you were wearing? Apparently A-Ri will be breaking away from the Miz for good soon, though not sure where. Anyhoo, yeah, thought they were doing good with the turnbuckle and the case and everything, but the double count-out was shit, and I was disappointed when Rock came out and cost John the match because it was just... shit. So pointless, and emphasised just how rushed it was. The beat-down was good on Miz I suppose, though it's apprent they'll be running with this storyline for a while too and it's just bleurgh. No title changes was very odd indeed, considering that at least one changes hands, but... tch, just overall was really disappointed with the way things played out. *sigh* So much that could have been done better.

I stayed up to watch ‘Mania and honestly, I feel rather ripped off. DB/ Sheamus got knocked off the card to a dark match, which sucks so hard. I was surprised to see Edge/ ADR on first and even more so that Edge retained – I was really looking forward to an ADR win and potential feud with Christian. It’s my opinion it was a mistake to go that way, but I suppose they felt they needed one babyface champ coming out of ‘Mania – which is dumb. Two title matches, at WM? And neither belt changing hands? And the Rumble winner failing at ‘Mania for what, the fourth year in a row? I might be wrong with that last comment actually, but I’m sure that’s how it’s been. I did get into the first match, enjoyed it, but it wasn’t spectacular or anything. Cody/ Rey was good and I was very, very pleased that Cody won – I know I’ve been saying it all along, but Cody needed that win and it did him a lot of favours. Not so sure about Rey dressed like Captain America though. The transparent mask is a bit silly and you could clearly see Cody’s face when he had it off – I wish that the commentators would go the same way as they did with Kane when he was unmasked. They were going on about how Kane thought he was burned when he really wasn’t and I think that would work well with Cody – although he doesn’t look disfigured, he can see the traces of imperfection that weren’t there before. Believable and simple.
I fell asleep during the match however – was knackered – and so spun it back to watch the end (oddly, it was Regal rapping about Blackpool that woke me up, lol). Which meant when I put the Corre match on, it was all but over! I was pissy about that. Wade gets no attack at all hardly, there was no video of Koslov getting injured and it felt like so much filler. Who the hell did Wade piss off to get that treatment at ‘Mania, after a potential ‘Taker match? Very disappointed. Ha, the belt does look tiny on Wade. I had no idea that was Beth Phoenix, I have enough trouble telling the Divas apart at the best of times. I did laugh my ass off at Mae Young smacking the Rock’s bottom, to bastardise the man’s quote. Randy/ Punk was the match I was really looking forward to as well, so figured that I would also crash in the middle of that too. I spun it back and have watched it since and not a bad little match at all, could have been better I suppose but I’ve no complaints. Punk comes across as an absolute bastard and that’s cool, loved the RKO but it was awfully abrupt. Either that or Cody/ Rey would be my favourite of the night though.
Thought Cole/ Lawler went on too long, but it was entertaining enough in parts and obviously, someone had to get the stunner! I hope they’re not running with the feud any longer though. If they have to, I’d have Cole piss off Lawler until the GM announces a rematch, on Raw, lasting about three minutes. Enough is enough when it comes to this. A one-off comedy match, okay. But no more! I didn’t expect much from the intergender and was pleasantly surprised by a couple of parts – discord in Lay-cool was overdue and welcome, and that Snooki creature wasn’t nearly as bad as I’d thought she’d be. Quite passable really. I would complain though that there was nothing for Morrison and Ziggler to do and they are the ones I actually want to see wrestling, not any of the ones that actually did. And yeah, MM is overexposed and boring. Be nice to see some variety in the Diva matches and not just the same old Lay-cool blah blah. Although if they do split, then we can expect the feud to go on a while... *sigh*
H3/ ‘Taker was kinda odd. I wasn’t really looking forward to it that much anyway, but although it had its moments, I thought the ending was just ego-massaging crap. I mean, hell. Didn’t think Undi would lose and didn’t want him to, but there was no excitement there. The moves were cool and everything but there was no way I could get into them fighting since the outcome was a certainty, unlike last year when there was Shawn’s career on the line too. And the way Undi flopped around afterward made him look like he couldn’t hack it anymore. “Oh, Trips is soooo good that I can’t stand up!” Whatever. John and Miz was odd. I liked the video packages at the start, showing how they’ve been into WWE since they were kids, but didn’t like the gospel thing particularly. And a double count-out in the main event of ‘Mania? LAME. Even if there was a restart, it sucked all the excitement from the match. And then Rock hits one move and John’s down for the count? No time to even get into the match again because it was so fast. That one was very poorly thought out.
Didn’t think ‘Mania was worth the money tbh. So strange in so many places, not very exciting and the way the main event ended up revolving around the Rock was just irritating. I watched the Rock when he was actually a wrestler and yeah, he was getting proper stale by the end of it all. It’s all very inconsistent – but I’m looking forward to Raw tonight as a result. Still, ‘Mania isn’t supposed to be an expensive ad for Raw! And I thought that the Rock getting involved was a bad guy thing to do – I’m tempted to say that John is gonna choose tonight for a heel turn, saying the ‘people’ turned their backs on him. Might be interesting but unlikely I guess.

There is a chance that this will be all over the place because I can't entirely remember the whole thing since we watched it rather quickly late last night, fast-forwarding through quite a lot of it. Meh, RAW wasn't brilliant but it wasn't overly terrible... I guess. Though, really, we should have expected it. Trips' speech at the beginning was far too overdone, though was obviously just setting up that 'Taker is gonna be fucking off for several months since his body can't cope with what was going on. I'm seriously disliking this whole King/Cole thing now, because it's just stupid and they should have let it die with King winning at 'Mania. I don't think that spandes works on anyone, but least of all MC, because MC's bodyshape just looks weird. Knew that he was going to say it was against Jack immediately, and I don't think it's doing Jack any favours being MC's go-to-guy, even if he is getting expose on TV at least. Glad King won, even if the win was a bit shit, though thought the subsequent thing where MC threw BBQ sauce all over JR was ridiculous. I was really hoping they'd show JR belting MC backstage or something but, *sigh* nothing. Apparently backstage everyone is really beginning to hate MC now because he's acting backstage the way he is on TV, bossing people around and expecting preferential treatment and stuff, letting it all go to his head. As an amusing side-not Jericho apparently Twittered that MC has some of the worst tattooes he'd ever seen.
Not impressed at all when I realised that Evvy was going up against ADR, because it was apparent that, once again, he was going to be used as cannon-fodder. Barely had chance to get excited about him being on TV before he was tapping... Barely had time to admire the new tights he was wearing either. Amused that ADR was bleeding though, just 'cause I felt Evvy had a tiny bit of retribution for Vince overlooking him again. Sheamus and Daniel Brian was pretty much expected that Sheamus'd win (and doesn't Sheamus' new ring-gear look weird?) though admittedly when Sheamus began kicking him in we expected someone to come out-- though Sin Cara was a surprise! Although he fluffed up his entrance somewhat it was still amazing, and his moves were fucking awesome! I want to see him and Evvy put together; the things those two could do together would be mind-blowing. Really was impressed and looking forward to seeing what Sin Cara can do. We're already anticipating that he's gonna get put with Rey for a tag-team at least sometime, and that because his mark is so full-face we're wondering if maybe they're gonna make part of his gimmick that he never speaks in backstage promos and interviews etc.
Quite looking forward to Randy's tag match against Punk, if only to see 2/3 of Legacy reunited! Tch, if only Teddy had been there that would have been amazing... Thought the match was pretty good, though the focus on the mask (which I think just emphasises that there's nothing wrong with Cody's face as opposed to making it seem like he was injured) was getting irritating. Loved the way they landed the RKO on Codes, just 'cause it brings to mind their history, though Punk running off was lame. I think Codes performed really well and carried most of the match, the kick he landed on Rey from the ropes looking damned painful. Dolph and Vickie coming out was expected, as was the fact that JoMo and Trish would win. Not big fans of any of them especially, and I doubly can't take Dolph seriously just because of Vickie and the way she just stands there squawking in the background. Match was quite lame to some degree, because Vickie's inability in the ring is highlighted by all of them, as is Trish's rustiness.
Wasn't at all interest in the Tough Enough challengers, though could see as soon as A-Ri came out he was getting stunnered. Stone-Cold's little grin on his face just makes me giggle everytime I see it and I don't know why. It'll be interesting to see what they do with A-Ri when he breaks away from Miz though I have a bad feeling he'll just drift into obscurity. Best part of the segment had to be though seeing which one of the TE group could catch the beer-cans, and then Stone-Cold pouring beer all over MC in his little box. No offence John-John, to you or the Rock, but I'm getting bored of this now. The childish slanging matches aren't doing either of them any favours and it was kinda random that they'd just let the thing with Miz fade off. Oh, wow, you've made a match for a year away? Seriously... that's apparently not going to be mentioned for a bit because Rock's apparently off filming for again. Had no idea what The Corre was doing out there, at all, because they no longer have beef with Cena, and they don't have any with Rock. Kinda thought the little pissing-match between them was also random, though I suppose they could've done worse. All-in-all not a brilliant, but not the worst RAW, but rather shit after an equally lame WM.

Wasn’t over-impressed with last weeks Raw myself, although I did completely mark out for Punk and Cody fighting Randy and Rey (and had this whole rather silly plot bunny about Punk versus Randy in the battle for Cody’s lurve!) and I was glad to see Evan – for all of about two seconds, until I realised he was gonna lose again, after not seeing him on Raw since his return match. Damn, THAT PISSES ME OFF! And I thought it was incredibly stupid to make a match for next years ‘Mania so far in advance. SummerSlam would make far more sense if they are to announce a match now and tbh, I probably still wouldn’t be excited even then. If the match was to be held off ‘til then due to scheduling issues, it would make more sense for them to almost forget things and have the two of them throw random snipes out at each other on occasion, then promote it December/ January. Because dammit, I can’t bear a year of them chucking insults at each other.
Smackdown wasn’t too bad this week. Cody’s mean streak is making me smile even if I didn’t want a Rey run-in. I suppose they’ll have a rematch at the next PPV, as will Edge and ADR – and then ADR can feud with Christian (DO WANT!). Very pissed off that the Corre are being relegated to fodder for the utterly rotten Big Show, increasingly pointless Kane and as for bloody Santino, WTF?
This weeks Raw – well, can’t believe this is the last time I get to lie in on a Tuesday until late August and I coughed myself awake at 6, the exact time I usually have to get up to watch Raw... bloody typical. John and Randy faceoff made me grin (as I was typing up Nexus or Against Us at the time as well, heh heh) until JoMo and Vickie showed up – I mean, JoMo’s been in midcard hell so long and Dolph needs some more credibility on Raw too. Although they’ve gotta get it somehow I guess. And fucking Truth? Could someone please give him his permanent ticket to Superstars puh-leez!? Very pleased to see the implication of Kong turning up soon! A bit more serious and less Tn’A for the girls at last, I can only hope. And speaking of the girls, Brie Bella as champion? Yuck. Emphasised by how the crowd were totally silent.
Enjoyed Sin Cara, it’s very nice to see something so different and those moves are completely breathtaking. More of that, less of the Big Slow! Oh, Wade throwing his weight around and Justin getting all up in his face, that made me sooo happy. As did Evvy and DB coming out. Some really good wrestlers, oh yes! Although the apple thing is kinda dumb. Loved the action there and was glad at the outcome weirdly enough – Evan didn’t win but he got in a beautiful move and it was Santino that got pinned. Both Evvy and DB looked good and they’re the ones I’m concerned about tbh. Think Jack losing was a mistake and the last thing I want is a King/ Cole rematch. And it hardly made Jack look good to get a slap without really retaliating.
...Wow. I’d heard that Edge was planning to retire next year after ‘Mania, but I guess that got fast-forwarded. True I was getting bored of him being champ, but I wasn’t looking for a retirement either. Very honest speech there, aw, I feel all emotional now. And I liked the breaking of kayfabe at the end so Edge could get his hugs in. Which leavs the question of what they're planning to do with the belt now. It's clearly vacant and I don't see them 'awarding' it to anyone the way they did to H3... although the hate if it was given to ADR in that way would be incredible, so I'm tempted to say I'd like to see it. And then the feud with Christian that I'm always harping on about, wanting to win it for Edge and all that. Cheating him out of it at Extreme Rules could also hit up a seriously emotional rematch at the next PPV and an equally emotional win for Christian - his first major WWE title. Yeah, that's how I'd book it, only it'd mean Teddy Long having to play the heel to award it to him. Or Vinnie Mac putting his foot down. ON a related note, not only do we know next years 'Mania main event, we know who the head inductee to the HOF is gonna be. And who's gonna be the one doing the speeches.
As for the main event, can’t say I was totally surprised to see the New Nexus going after Randy – I’ve spent half of Raw wondering where Punk was and although he wasn’t there either, I thought there would be some continuation of that angle there. Very shocked he was the first guy knocked out though. And super-yuck, Truth? Pinning Ziggler and Morrison, seriously? Miz had a bloody good point that JoMo ALWAYS misses when he goes for a pin. And a straight bloke should never have ‘What’s up?’ written on the seat of his pants. It’s just begging for comments. There’s no way that either JoMo or Truth can be taken seriously as challenger after playing bit-parts in every championship opportunity since forever. Elimination Chamber et al, no one thought they were going anywhere near that belt/ shot and they were right, because they never, ever do. Although to be at least a little fair to WWE, this is the kind of match – plenty of offence for those with little credibility – that starts to rebuild them as actual contenders. Triple threat though... I wasn’t sure that I wanted a rehash of Miz/ John, but if adding Truth is gonna work then they need to do a LOT of work making me thing Truth has a chance. And the first thing is to LOSE THE BLOODY WHAT’S UP because it’s ridiculous and annoying and makes me wish death on him every time. No one’s forgotten K-Kwik, Truth, and that whole minor league rap thing only reminds us all over again. Huh. Quite enjoyed Raw, even though I can’t say I’m convinced at all by the ending.

As always this'll probably be all over the place, because when I sit down to write these I always forget what I watched and in what order xD Was actually sort of impressed with Smackdown this week... maybe even more than RAW if I'm honest. Knew that ADR'd be coming out, and although he was giving the big stick about respecting Edge you knew he was just fishing for the title. Glad that they didn't just award it over (and, my God, where the hell does Teddy-Long get his suits?) and though the battle-royal for a competitor is an interesting idea I sort of twigged from the off that it'd be Rey or Christian... I won't lie, when I first started watching I was plugging for Christian big time. T'fuck with LayCool and the couple councilling sesh? If you're going to split them up fucking do it already! I'm sick and tired of seeing them together, like, big time, and just want them both gone. Coddles' promo was actually pretty awesome, and BB has some serious rage going on! He's much more confident on the mic than he used to be, though I never feel too thrilled when they start dragging families into it, regardless of whether it's just through talk or actual stuff. The mask still retracts from it all, I think, because it's just so damned obvious that there was never actually anything wrong with his face. And, of course, Rey came out... fast-forwarded the end.
Ezekiel vs Kofi... Well, this was pretty much a no-brainer though the interference was rather shit compared to usual standards. Zeke shouldn't be let on a mic anymore than Heath should; was it just me or did he sound uber "me Tarzan, you Jane," with how slow he spoke. Interesting that they're going for dissention between the Corre, though must amdit I'll be beyond pissed if they get disbanded first when Nexus should have been gotten rid of like yonks ago when they all started getting punted. Edge's little promo where he's walking down the back was pretty sweet, though I did laugh out loud at the way everything went all quiet with Kane and then he just shook his hand... Must admit I was hoping for just a little something as a much-around, but I'll settle for that. Did skim a lot of the basic stuff, but caught the main parts.
Rey and Drew I'll admit I fast-forwarded through, knew that Rey was gonna win anyway. The commentary was pretty much the same old fare tonight which I'll admit disappointed me big time, because Booker and Josh usually come out with some crackers even if MC is very much spouting the same garbage. K2 vs Layla, with McC acting all 'tough and ghetto' on the mic. I can't help but imagine, whenever I hear her talk, someone in the middle of a field milking cows in one of those little towns that have less than a hundred people living there... her accent's that odd. The match was pretty lame, though glad to see some other Diva being boosted somewhat at least. McC and Layla better split up this time or I'll be pissed off to fuck. Also, is it just me or should McC not wear heels? Those ones she was wearing on SD this time just looked horrendous, and her height is emphasised in an unflattering way.
I've never especially liked or disliked Edge, but I'll admit even I got a little sentimental over his speech. The bit with his mum was really sweet, and I thought she did well not to cry because you could see that she really wanted to. Thought Edge was actually pretty damned adorable when he went back to do the 'final lap' of his entrance before he got out of the ring and left. Had to admit I was slightly bummed that there was no moment with Christian, but knew that there had to be one that night. Rosa's voice was horrendous, no offence to her, though did quite like the way they kept ADR and Edge at loggerheads even so. I won't lie that I fast-forwarded through the majority of the battle-royal, 'cause it's hard to keep track of everything until people start getting chucked out. Amused by Brodus vs Kane, 'cause Kane was just like 'whatevs' and you knew that Show was gonna take out Zeke. When Rey gotta rid of Codes I was pissed, though must admit so glad when he didn't win this time around... he normally does when he'd doing his 'lingering on the ring apron'. But, before that though: WTF was MC doing? o.O Sacrificing himself for Jack? Please don't say they're gonna keep the whole King&JR vs MC&Jack thing going for too long!
Oh holy fuck, Justin eliminating Wade! OMG Wade was maaadddd... and did Justin look cheeky, or did he look cheeky? xDD Wade had such a 'you just wait until later, when we're alone, you just wait!' and Justin was all 'what? You always tell us we should take advantage!' Slightly disappointed that that didn't go further, Justin going quite soon after, but I'd love to see that tension develop further between Wade and Justin. Must admit, didn't see that one coming especially-- would have thought something would have happened with Zeke considering he was the one who'd been the focus and all. Still, that was pretty much one of my highlights right there. Slightly bummed in a way that Jack got beat (and, tch, please, that is not innocent the way he and MC crawled to one another and everything) but I want a real ADR and Christian feud. Quite liked that intervention outside the ring didn't work for once, and felt that Christian was well-deserved in the victory. Booker was right about one thing: Christian is far too underrated and undervalued on SD. When Edge came out you knew that they were gonna have a moment, and that hug was so frigging adorable it was almost painful to witness... and I still maintain that it wasn't Christian's win that ADR was mad about, or the kick in the jaw, but that Edge was all up on his man, and vice-versa xDD Really hoping they don't let this one slide, because a decent feud with these two would be really awesome if they could work it out right. Liked the E&C together, ADR standing on the table and being all 'it's mine' at the belt (and Christian, ahem) moment at the end, though would have liked to have seen what happened when Smackdown went off of the air. All in all not too bad I felt, for once.

I enjoyed Smackdown on Friday, I had a feeling that ADR would expect to be handed the belt and I knew that Christian would win the Battle Royal, although I held out a brief hope for Cody – I liked his interview although I’m with you on involving the families, not a fan. And I wanted Cody to get his own back on Rey, a little bit pissed it didn’t happen. We needed an E&C moment though and it was quite a touching one – and the moment I typed that up, I glanced at the TV and spotted the script editor for Buzzcocks is called Adam Copeland, which was an amusing coincidence, lol. Don’t know who’ll win between ADR and Christian to be honest, Christian deserves (and is long overdue for) a run as champ, but I’m almost sure that ADR was due to take the belt from Edge at ER and would he lose momentum if he lost to Christian? It would be a crowd-pleaser for Christian to win, but how much of a bastard would ADR look if he cheated a win that Christian was going to dedicate to his best mate? And then I’d be concerned that Christian would not be able to recover from that loss. And I’m rambling, just so happy to see this feud looking so promising after wanting it for so long! My big mark-out moment on Smackdown came when Justin knocked Wade out of the ring – ooooh, Wade was angry as hell and I look forward to seeing the fallout from that one!
And time for Raw – I knew I’d have trouble waking up this week after being up at the crack of dawn this week and having to work today, bloody typical. Hmm, Truth against JoMo was something different and not at all bad, glad at Truth’s heel turn because I’m so bloody sick of him rapping. Maybe we won’t have to see that any more since they don’t want a crowd pleaser – him stopping is a crowd pleaser, or at least a me-pleaser! Was happy to see Evvy, not so much to see Vickie since that’s gonna mean a loss. I mean, they’re not even playing his music now! Dolph looks a thousand times better though. When he stepped out, I thought it was a tribute to his opponent, lol. It’s probably wrong of me, but I’m hoping for a move to Smackdown for Evan. At least he might be more than jobber there and he deserves that much. And the same could go for Ted. They have more time for the mid-card on there and just maybe something will come of their careers on there.
Loved the tag match. Watching Sin Cara is a ton of fun and I cracked up when it was pointed out how The Miz has a lot of fans in London – when I went in November Miz got a nice cheer that they don’t often point out. I was hoping to be in Liverpool for the house show yesterday, but my finances are still screwed up after Christmas, or that’s my excuse at least. Broke any way you look at it! One way of emphasising that Sin Cara’s a good guy is to put him with Cena at least and I proper enjoyed the match.
Zoomed the women’s match, as per. I didn’t have a huge amount of time for MC this week either tbh. I found the whole thing surreal and not in a good way, also I don’t do feet anytime and that was horrible. Also stupid. Can’t wait for Extreme Rules if only to see the back of this – and didn’t I say that about ‘Mania? I’m not buying Extreme Rules this time around. Did watch Sheamus and Santino (and grinned when they mentioned the last time, since all you could see in the stands was Sheamus trying not to piss himself laughing) but wasn’t blown away.
Damn, I love Punk. He’s such a bastard. When the crowd were shouting at Randy to come on, and Punk was joining in with them and clapping along, I almost died laughing. I love Randy, obviously, but Punk is such an unashamed arsehole that I can’t help liking him too. Bloody enjoyed that match but was surprised that there was a pun there – the right way to do it, a bit of a surprise. What wasn’t a surprise was when the Nexus showed up, but I’d thought they’d be out earlier. Mason Ryan being mister uncontrollable was kinda fun and I was sure that Punk was gonna land the punt. Boy sure can throw a tantrum though! Ha, I rather enjoyed Raw today. Room for improvement certainly, but it was satisfactory in most places and a lot of fun in others. The only down side was another loss for Evan, coupled with the stupid commentators angle. Everything else, I could get behind.

Vicki GTFO off my screen and away from Evvy! Don't you dare pollute his air you bag! Lol at his adorableness just being all "yes, yes, whatever you say, Vicki." I was squeeing like a fangirl and my mum's bf was sat there shaking his head at me. Also, love the way my little bro calls him my boyfriend whenever he's on TV xD Actually surprised by Dolph's new look -much nommier than his old look, now just get some new gear and lose Vicki- and thank God I wasn't the only one to think he looked like our Evvy haha. Do think Evvy would have a better time on SD, though wouldn't hold my breathe with WWE's creative team! Truth and JoMo surprised JoMo won, though quite liked the beat-down. Don't quit get why him having a drink was such a big deal, but ah well. Apparently JoMo's not too popular at the mo because he blanked Trish Stratus after 'Mania and everything, because of his ties to Melina and the fact that Trish was being hyped as a bigger attraction with that Snooki or something... Doubt he'll win though regardless; he's not Championship material yet. Not the WWE champ anyway.
Sin Cara! Sin Cara! That entrance is amazing and the moves that guy can pull of or fooking amazing! Enjoyed that match indeed and am pretty unsurprised that he got put in the roster so fast. Didn't think much of Miz's new t-shirt though; it just looked tacky and cheap, and, lol, did you spot the tan streaks on the side? Slight downside though: Vince apparently wants to scrap the entrance because the blokes who push the mini trampoline out for him to get his jump keep fucking up. Boo, if they get rid of it they better give him a decent one to replace it-- or just get better staff!
Women's match was crap; don't like the Bellas then and I don't like them now, though was pleased when Eve got a win. Amused to see that they're trying to make the Bellas seem sexier, but it failed. Wished Eve would've popped MC in the mouth though... The MC thing was ridiculous, and I don't think it's doing Jack any favours to have him as his pack-rate again. Seriously hope that JR and King win to put an end to this thing, where it should have ended at 'Mania, like you said. Sheamus and Santino quite amusing, though surprised Santino didn't steal another win as per.
Punk throwing a wobbler was highly hilarious, though tbh I was focused on how Punk's hair had gone all 'skunk-back-comb!' by the end of the match. We were expecting someone to come out, though I enjoyed the snap-RKO as a one-up to Nexus; it's so boring to watch the same beat-downs after beat-downs where they're involved. And, more specifically as to who would come out, we were thinking Batista (he's meant to be returning) which'd be interesting to see since Mason Ryan is nicknamed Bastis-two on Jericho's twitter and stuff... Chrissy should be coming back this year also, which is major plus! Agree with you on most aspects of RAW yesterday: room for improvement but enjoyable in its places. A note on the draft: Randy is apparently moving to Smackdown as the loss of Edge means they don't have any high-up faces left... *cough*put Evvy with him as awesome tagteam*cough*

Ahh, Smackdown... which might just be getting more star-power if the draft is anything like it probably should be. Cody out first and y’know what? I have the worlds most awesome boots that exactly match Cody’s jacket, same design and colours and everything. And that was off-topic but I thought it was worth a mention, lol. I have a feeling that Cody will be going to Raw and their match at Extreme Rules will end up being the big blowoff – that would suit me actually since I have tickets to the house show at the MEN on bonfire night and I could wear my Dashing shirt – I have two (long story, comedy of errors). That they’re fighting on Smackdown suggests that Cody is on the move. Pissed about Cody losing, but I’m rather pleased that Cody came out on top during that beat-down.
Also I was rather fond of the whole Corre having issues bit, especially where Justin got pushed over. Wasn’t too pleased that they lost the belts (unless it has something to do with the draft) and was pleased at Wade retaining in what I thought was a pretty cool match. I didn’t like the party idea, but the part at the end with all the attacks and Christian getting the belt was pretty cool.
Watching the draft on Raw and I have a vested interest in who I want to go to each show – I’ve got tickets for the Raw houseshow and there’s people I haven’t seen wrestle live before that I wanna see! I thought the Battle Royal wasn’t actually too bad, there was a lot of things in there that made sense. Excellent showing from Evan for example and he doesn’t usually get the chance. And then there was Ted making an important elimination, which was also nice to see. About bloody time! I was completely shocked when they got John though, I knew either John or Randy would have to go over but I honestly thought it would be Randy being moved. Thought the beat-down with Truth and Morrison wasn’t at all bad. Believable and heated at least. Lay-cool fight after we saw coming a mile away and someone needs to teach Layla how to act, because she’s crap at it.
Way pissed about Rey on Raw. I suppose it’s something to do with Sin Cara, but damn. Not into that choice at all. And Randy? RANDY!? Gah! I know I already saw him once but y’know, huh. Randy was looking rather gorgeously scruffy today though, nom nom. Cracked up though when he got the T-short because it looked like he was checking the size and realising he wasn’t gonna get it over that chest. I swear, Raw had better get some decent picks too! Zoomed most of the Cole/ JR match, so bored of the whole thing now. Though there was a surprising amount of blood! Into Randy’s match of course, looking exceptionally hot as I believe I already said through a mouthful of drool. Could care less about Mark Henry, a bit annoyed about Sin Cara. Would have liked to see him wrestle live, instead Raw get Rey. Oh well.
Okay, I freaked when they had Show as the next choice. In the bad way. Who the hell pays to see that guy? Bletch. And I might have been thinking seriously about refunds if it wasn’t for ADR getting a draft pick. That mollified me a little. Only a little though. I’d love to see ADR but I’m still unhappy about Mysterio and Show. Seems like Rey’s been doing the same five moves for the last hundred years. Last match was okay and I suppose they’re setting Henry up as a heel now. And okay... John’s back on Raw now. That lasted all of two hours, lol. I’d be happier about the draft picks if it wasn’t for my tickets and the one thing I really didn’t want was Punk going to Smackdown, so that’s good. But I wanted Cody on Raw so nothing to shout about – so far at least.
On the whole, not over impressed with the draft picks and the draft overshadowed the action. There are apparently some more picks to go on wwe.com today, but nothing announced yet. I expect at least one member of the Corre to be drafted – I was having this whole thing with JG, where Punk tried to recruit him once he got to Raw alone and he says no, so he gets battered and has to go and get himself some help, ending up dragging Evan into the whole mess... yeah, never happen (Wade’s more likely to go) but it’d be kinda cool.

Apologies for if this isn't exactly chronological as always haha. First off, whilst I am not a big fan of scruff on men (that and beards usually puts me right off) there's something about Randy with scruff that had me drooling *.* nom nom nom. Usually I get annoyed when they stand there and play the crowd for ages, but today it had me laughing; Randy's cheeky smiles are such win. And, please, who wouldn't know who he was? xD Thought Drew's hair was looking strangely feminine today o.o but ah well. Those two could have been an interesting feud, but yay RKO-- and my God, did you see the elevation he got for that one? A-Ri's music is shite... must admit I was expecting some sort of Miz-tastic rip-off, but then I'm not surprised... all newbie solo-performers get shit music. Ha, didn't even get to talk before taken down-- bye A-Ri! Unlucky chucky, welcome to SD! Brodus Clay just gets grosser and grosser every week, and Ricardo's as creepy as ever xD yays to Christian coming out to help Randy... and I have such slash on the brain when ADR and Christian are involved because whenever Christian's working with another bloke ADR proper seems to have a flid in my mind xD looked forward to that main event indeed when it happened. Sheamus braying Kofi was random and I got bored after a bit-- all the beat-downs start to look the same after a while, and when there's no explanation it just gets lame. Quite surprised they let Kofi get decked as such, but then figure that they want to try and assert Sheamus' dominance early and what-not. Seeing everyone in the contrasting shirts was mucho weird indeed. No Wade or Zeke tonight when it was the tag-title rematch, I was surprised to note, and this is leading me to wonder whether they are going to start splitting up the stables soon. I'll be kinda bummed to see 'em all get split up, but there's not that much more they can do with them that hasn't already been done... especially where the Nexus are concerned once Randy and Punk's feud ends at ER. It'll be interesting to see what they do with Show and Kane's tag-titles, on that note, since they are on different shows and all. Jack and Sin Cara (and MC, seriously, just propose to Jack and get it over and done with-- don't you think those two have proper domestics together? I swear that's where he really got the black eye from xD) was interesting and that entrance from Sin Cara was fucking a-we-some! Sorry Miz, but way more awesome even than you. That man's balance is unbelievable and I still can't believe half of the moves that he manages to pull off are incredible. Glad Sin Cara won, because I really don't want them to drop the ball on him. Hope JR and King win, then we can stop this stupid feud and Jack can try and get some credibility back instead of being MC's failed bag-boy. And, is it just me, or did you find that whole thing on RAW with the Queen's look-alike and stuff rather offensive? And the whole 'Sir Michael Cole' thing just bothers me. LayCool's scrap was shite and although I am glad they've broken them up as a tag-team I'm going to get very bored with seeing them in a feud for too long. Just have their match at ER (which will be shit, you can see it already, though I have a feeling Awesome Kong -sorry, Kharma- may interrupt them, or sometime soon, with any luck to pick up the Divas' division once more) and then call an end to it and start focusing elsewhere. Now that Kelly's on RAW they're gonna need to start utlising other Divas more. Also, no Teddy! They had majority of people who got drafted on, but nothing from Teddy-- not even a backstage segment or anything! Gah... hoping that Ted gets used more now that he's on the blue brand, and that he and Cody will get back together. Y'know, just saying... Rey and MH I fastforwarded through, because MH just can't wrestle properly, he's too big, and then Coddles came out and kicked him in... the paperbag thing is just so fucking weird lol. Cody had black shoes on for once, thank God, so I wasn't distracted by his feet. Makes me wonder how many shirts he's yanked the buttons off for SD haha. Main event wasn't bad, I suppose, but not brill, though the RKO to Brodus was pretty damn impressive. Hope that Christian does win at ER, if for a bit, because then he and ADR can really feud... though chances are they'll be putting Randy in for the WHC before too long now he's on the show. All in all not brilliant, but not the worst SD in a while; we'll need to see how both shows do now they've had the draft and all that.

HERE BE EXTREME RULES SPOILERS!!
You remember how I said I wasn’t going to buy Extreme Rules? I had a long argument with myself and lost. Now I’m £15 poorer and thinking that it might actually be worth it, because I’m watching Mr Orton, accompanied by his scruff, heading to the ring. It seems really quiet in the arena actually, but it might be the size of the place since that seems to make a difference. I loved the hell out of that match, but I was a bit gutted that Punk didn’t win. Randy got the win at ‘Mania, Punk was due to get one back surely! Still, that top rope RKO looked fucking amazing. I thought there might be a bonus match somewhere because there weren’t that many announced and I broke out laughing at the birth certificate thing – the only reason I’ve been keeping up with American politics of late (I barely bother to keep up with English politics, I’m beyond disillusioned) is because someone sent me a link of Barrack Obama coming out to make a speech to Hulk Hogan’s old theme tune and I had to be clued in on the joke. Even not knowing, I thought it was the coolest thing a politician ever did and that alone would have won my vote, if I had one there. And that’s me rambling off topic. A pretty good match and some great moves in there. It’s a bit of a shame there wasn’t much of a build-up to it because a little more emotional investment would have made it that little bit better, but you can’t have everything.
Bletch, whipping match. I gotta agree that I found that whole thing with the fake Queen weird and surreal and mildly distasteful, not entertaining at all – it looked like the crowd didn’t have a clue what to make of it at the time either. Not looking forward to this one at all, in spite of Jack, who I really do like watching wrestle. Hmm, my overall opinion was that it wasn’t the wreck I was expecting but I see it as being the low point of the night overall – and if it is, I’ll be happy enough. I love Cody’s video package so very much, I’d almost forgotten how much fun Cody seemed to have with the Dashing thing now he’s doing a damn good job of being a nutter. Adored this match too, so much going on and it had a lot of really good moments. The only disappointing part was the outcome! I had a feeling that Rey would get the win back but I did hope against hope that Cody would come out on top. He looked good though and that’s always a good thing.
Layla looked a fucking mess backstage, that jacket all bunched up made her look like she had no neck and all the whiny apologies made her look like she has no balls, figuratively speaking of course. The moment they announced this one I knew who was going to win and why, plus I find both of them so unwatchable and unconvincing that I’ve zero interest in this at all. Well – that held true until the very end of the match, when Kong showed up! Loved it, so much and it would have been better if the rest of the Divas hadn’t stood there like robots with the wires pulled gazing blankly at the TV.
The whole reason I eventually decided to buy ER was because of Christian versus ADR and my god, that match didn’t disappoint at all. Fantastic. I forgot to type while I sat and screamed at the TV (my neighbours must love me, when it’s not 6am Tuesday, it’s 3-30 on a Monday, lol). I really didn’t know who would win that one, because I think if Edge hadn’t retired then it would have been ADR winning and I know they wanna push him, but given the emotional stuff that’s been going on I wouldn’t have bet against him. And rightly so, it seems. That was a really exciting match! Christian bleeding a little, Brodus Clay looked like he’d completely mashed the back of his head in. I was proper cheering by the end of it all, it really drew me in and I loved it. Best match of the night in my first-watch opinion and I already enjoyed every match (even the women’s, although only peripherally, it was really Kharma I enjoyed, heh heh). Just brilliant storytelling there and well worth the money. This is so many miles better than ‘Mania was, next year I’m gonna sack of WM28 and just get ER.
Wasn’t expecting the tag match, but it makes sense to have the other members of the Corre have a crack I guess and I like how it’s a Lumberjack match, if only so I got to see Evvy! Was it me or did Heath try to get between Wade and Justin when they were going in? Hmmm. Probably my silly fangirl imagination. Aww, I’m pissed. I wanted Wade to win! And I was waiting for Evvy to kick off outside the ring, but he just kinda wandered around and then we missed JG and Heath doing their thing too. What was the point? I like all the members of the Corre, some more than others obviously, and I think they all deserve better than to be cannon fodder for the utterly crap Big Show and the past-it and increasingly pointless Kane.
Honestly, I think they should have swapped around the cage and ladder matches, but that didn’t mean it wasn’t any good or anything, just that the ladder match was a more likely happy ending. I knew Truth was gonna get involved in that, it was obvious from the get-go. I knew Morrison wasn’t gonna win but I thought Miz might retain. And it was a decent match! I don’t think there’s been a genuinely horrible match the whole night and even the weak spots weren’t at all bad. ER pissed all over ‘Mania. The action was a thousand times better and although the results weren’t all the ones I wanted, I bloody enjoyed. And I know how much I go on about being burned out after a ton of gimmick matches so that I don’t always enjoy the main event when it comes, the matches were different enough so that I didn’t. Two thumbs up, glad I spent the money!

Okies, RAW update time. First off-- how frigging annoying were all the little mostly-not-funny famous people viginettes for wishing Rock a happy birthday? And also, Pitbull? Why the hell was he there? That made no sense to me, and those cheerleaders were bloody frightening o.o. Shoulda known he'd be coming out first what with it being his birthday and all, and am not surprised that MC had to start getting involved. And, my mum agreed with me when I pointed this out, but MC has put on a lot of weight all of a sudden... he's a funny shape anyway, as evidenced by his spandex, and the way that jersey stuck out somewhat evidenced this further. Lol'd at the way Jerry was chuckling along after the Rock Bottom, though the whole previous bit about Rock being all, "Yeah, you won at Wrestlemania and Extreme Rules," and I was just like, "No. No no. Leave it all alone now; it's done and I'm bored with it." The big American thing about Osama Bin Laden was just a bit much though. I mean, yeah, it's good he's dead, but in reality that is not where the story ends-- hence why everyone has been told to be on high alert.
This is gonna be all over the place, lol, as evidenced above, because I can't remember exactly what happened where. First off though: EVAN IN A SHIRT! EVAN LOOKING SEXY IN A SHIRT BACKSTAGE AT THE PARTY! Camera-men so should have got in closer for that one. The Santino/Kozlov/Swoggle/Khali thing was mildly amusing although most pointedly disturbing, but then Ron Simmons just capped the moment for me haha. Not too sure about the Mae Young thing, though knew it was coming a mile away. I can't help but feel bad for her, because she's just so old and she looks like she's struggling to keep upright. Glad when he shut Vickie up though.
Truth attacking JoMo I was rather mixed on. Not quite sure what I think of Truth's new character... Yeah he's less irritating now, but all his crazy-eyes and shit is just kinda boring. I've never seen him so vicious and that's one thing I think is daft about the type of character they are-- since the faces are meant to be so good it's like they're meant to be physically weaker because of the fact they need to follow the rules. Hope they don't keep this on forever because it's gonna get as boring as King and JR with MC and Jack, where everything follows the same basic outline and everything... Unlucky night for Maryse, who we haven't seen for a while, considering that she got belted by Kharma (who is pretty damn awesome, though scares me... her laugh has the same eerie quality as Teddy Sr lol) though I don't understand why Kelly got left out of that one. Oh, and according to all accounts, Michelle McCool has actually retired and that's why she lost that match-- something to do with her foot. We were anticipating she'd go to RAW at first before we heard this since that's where 'Taker's apparently going whenever he comes back.
John and Miz's match went rather as I was expecting, though I rather enjoyed it despite thinking it went on a touch too long. A-Ri getting involved wasn't the slightest bit surprising, and I won't lie I was rather pissed at the thought of John losing like that. When the belt dropped though and the ref started looking at it I thought they were gonna do the usual, "the ref didn't see it so it still counts," but for once they actually called them on it. The occasional cheat-win is fine but that was what compromised most of Miz's reign and therefore lowered his calibre as champ in my opinion. Loved the freak-out afterwards though... Mizzy can throw a paddy with the best of them xD besides, I didn't see them letting John lose after the whole American/Army thing they had going on especially. Good match from both overall though I felt.
Kofi and Rey we fast-forwarded through a lot of, to be fair, but we did see the ending... and found it amusing that usually when one is nailed with a trouble-in-paradise kick they don't usually end up on the ropes; how convenient! Not too sure what I thought about that, because that's two consequtive defeats for Drew since he got drafted and Jack getting beat as well probably doesn't help him anymore than being MC's whipping boy does. Hmm, interesting for MR vs Kane, even though you knew the New Nexus was coming out at some point. We're wondering if they're gonna break him as a singles competitor so soon considering that he has the most potential out of all those lot. Batista's meant to be coming back soon, and we think he'll be coming after MR. Chris is meant to be returning soon now that he has been booted from that dance competition for telly, his tweets supposedly giving the teasing that he was meant to be returning at ER... which didn't happen much to my disappointment.
The ending with Vinny-Mac coming out was pretty surprising, and the little video montage was rather sweet, and the fact that his family was there was nice. We did lol at some of his school photos though, especially as we considered he looked so geeky in school and he looks like that now. The sheer amount of balloons and confetti, as well as all the party hats and crap had us thinking that the cleaners were going to have a hell of a night cleaning all of that up! Well, not a brilliant RAW but not completely horrible-- only to be expected when it's focused upon one person technically.

This is as good a time as any to resurrect the wrestling thread and it’s been a while – a long while, given what I had written down from the last time I was supposed to post! And we missed a PPV and everything!
I was incredibly pissed off when Randy won the belt on SD. Not that I don’t love the man, I do, but I don’t think he needed the belt so soon and I was so delighted when Christian won the belt – I really whooped it up. Things just haven’t been going Christian’s way and although I was interested to see how things would go from him losing the belt, I’m not sure that they have things right. This weeks SD was just a little weird, with Christian losing the number one contenders match and Randy’s interference – very strange and I’m not sure that I approve one bit. Then again, I love how Randy’s been on SD, aside from the belt situation. He seems so bloody happy to be there! He always looks like he’s having a really good time and I never thought I’d crack up laughing at Randy but I have been – when he tagged with Christian and did the star jump and the little dance… oh god, I missed most of the rest of that first time around because I was in bloody hysterics. So I’m enjoying that atm.
John against Miz is getting a bit old, but I loved the mad fight with Miz and A-Ry, that was class. And the I Quit match was kinda strange, but the false ending should have been milked more I thought, perhaps to extend the feud with a final blow-off at the next PPV and John getting the belt back then. I have seen the false quit done before, long time ago with the Rock/ Mankind thing but they really didn’t do anything with it back then – Foley just said that he was unconscious and unable to quit and they didn’t do anything else with it at all. They could have made a really big deal of this one. If they’d caught the phone on camera rather than the ref seeing it and then Miz made a massive deal out of being the first person to get John to quit, then the Miz/ A-Ry stress over the whole thing… that would have been sweeter. Still, I hear that John is to hang on to the belt until ‘Mania and he can’t scrap with Miz that whole time – wonder who he’s getting next?
What the hell’s happening with Ted and Cody lately? Not that I’m complaining even slightly at the interaction between the two – well, perhaps just a little because of the inconsistency. First off, I flipped when they had that fight. I thought it might be the start of the feud and you know how much I would love something like that to happen. If they had amped up the animosity John/ Randy style and started on about stuff that happened when they were tagging that really pissed them off, that might have been lots of fun. And then when they came out together the next week, I was more than a little excited – whoa, I was just back from the football club and buzzing off of three pints, I think I might have done a little dance XD. And Teddy getting a win, I like that! I thought it might be good to get them back together at that point, because come on! Newly bitter Cody and an angry Ted straight off a losing streak, that could have been some good fun and led to a feud (much) later down the line – and Randy getting involved of course! But this week, no mention of Ted and Cody out there alone against DB. I liked the match and all, but I’m not at all sure what they’re playing at.
As to everything else, hmmm. The Corre don’t seem to be doing much of anything, which is really annoying. The implosion thing seems to have been forgotten in favour of Big Zeke getting out of there, but the whole thing was so rushed and badly booked that it’s not really affecting anyone. Six months ago Wade was in title matches and now he’s slid so far down the card it’s aggravating – and he’s not doing anything with that belt. The Truth stuff is odd, I like it better than the damned rapping I gotta admit and the paranoia’s quite fun, but I’m not really caring if he wins or loses still. Evvy’s still getting beat up *sigh* but I did like how he got a little jab in at Jack after the match they had. Damn but Evan needs some help from creative and NOW. And how long have we been saying that? Oh, and the most amusing thing on Raw of late has been Zack Ryder and John Cena. Fucking hilarious. That moment when John was whooing with him and wandered off, then looked back to see Zack still whooing... I loved that and the amusement on John’s face was ace. It’s never gonna take the place of my favourite ever John moment (with Christian and Tomko at the Rumble 2005 and he actually had to really fight not to die laughing) but it’s one of those little things that I really love.
ADR got to fight Rey again, which I wasn’t pleased with but at least they kept it short and threw Rey in Truth’s direction. But I’m less pleased that they seem to have thrown him in Show’s direction – okay, the dudes out for a while and they can’t really have him feud with Kane because he’s on SD and not tag champ anymore, but I groan whenever anyone I like gets paired with that overweight, unconvincing asshole. And I’m so sick of Kane lately that I could scream. Thing is, I can’t really think of anyone off the top of my head I’d like to see ADR feud with, except for Christian over the belt obviously, so I’ve no suggestions to an alternative. I wish they’d do a little more with Punk but I loved his Macho tribute gear and yelling at Bret – the trouble is thought that he’s just treading water and I’d like him to get some kind of proper feud going on. The Nexus stuff is hardly setting the world on fire either.

Okies, sorry this took so long: I had to wait for RAW to come around to have something to talk about haha. As always this'll probably be jumbled because I'll just write about what I remember, and tbf I've been working on our Wild West fic for the past near-hour and all before remembering this haha. First off, what the hell was with the technical difficulty bull? We fast-forwarded the first half-hour or so just because it was annoying to be watching it as though there was no sound... though to some degree I didn't mind because it meant I didn't have to listen to "Crazy Truths" coming from Psycho!Truth. Getting kind of bored how he's suddenly getting put in WWE Championship limelight because he's nowhere near good enough for it, so it'll be just boring. Wasn't too thrilled by Kofi and Dolph's match --and it is just me or does Dolph suit that odd blonde shade even less with short hair than he did long, he shoulda stayed dark, cause I found him marginally more attractive there-- and Vickie annoys me.
Vickie and Dolph are way too overdone, and I can't take Dolph seriously with her there. Kofi's not been a v. exciting US Champ either, so it's kinda bla that they're focusing on it. Missed Josh on commentary yesterday, but at least King was bullying Cole a little so it was all good. Glad that they seemed to have finally placed a lid on that whole ridiculous feud. Less than impressed by Del Rio's promo, because I just don't get it-- what good would a feud against Show do Del Rio, and vice versa? I must admit I was expecting Kane to come out there and do something, or that he would take out MM and DO somehow. Yawn for Punk and Rey, I'm sorry but it wasn't too exciting at all; the usual thing of Punk getting a sly kick and Mason being there and supposedly being intimidating... yeah yeah, the only thing missing was a Nexus beat-down. Looking at Nexus now, compared to Nexus then, it really is nothing. On a side note MR's apparently in line for being turned a face.
I seriously swear the Bellas were men at some point, because they just aren't attractive even slightly, and have weird faces. Their 'Loser' hand gestures and everything just make you think they're about twelve, and equally pathetic, much like LayCool had been. Glad to see them lose for once, and seriously hope Brie loses the championship soon because she's probably the least-liked Diva's champion ever. When MC got in the ring and started slagging off Alex I found it amusing to think they'd gone so long without MC fulfilling his role as Mizzy's cheerleader. I quite liked Riley's music from what we got of it, and he actually looked all cute when he was embarrassed about being cheered. He already seems like a popular face, and I was sat there saying, "Hit MC and you'll be even more popular!" which then almost happened. Knew Miz was going to come out and I had to admit I was expecting him to win-- in my opinion it was good to give Alex the boost though, since it'll help establish him some more in single's competition over on SD, allowing him to develop his character some more. Also-- how flimsy is Miz's clothing? xD Alex throws him around and he ends up with half his buttons missing, but Alex gets thrown around and all he gets is his jacket missing haha.
EVANNNN! Our BB is on TV! And so's Jack, but I'm sorry, more caring about Evan there xD I must admit I was imagining Randy watching from over on SD and being all, "Get your hands off my boy!" especially when Jack had a hand on Evan's ass when he was doing the push ups O.o did you hear how ragged and growly his breathing was? I was getting non-PG images in my head big-time. Must admit I was feeling somewhat bummed about the fact that Evan was being ragged around and beaten down, but then when he stole the tin I think I actually squealed; sure, it's not as good as giving a beating in return and getting a pin, but at least he actually got a pin... and Jack throwing his tantrums is always amusing. Am surprised when it came to Kharma that they actually admitted she's pregnant, because we were thinking they might have some sort of storyline going on to cover it up. Surprised by the fact that she had one of the nicest voices I've heard from any of the Divas. What the Bellas were saying about her size and the baby having ears and stuff was just plain wrong, and if I had any respect of liking for them then I would have lost it in that. If I had been Kharma I wouldn't have been too concerned about getting something to hit them with... Must admit I'm actually hoping when she does come back the Bellas are the first two that she takes out.
Didn't understand the count-out for John and Truth, because I thought when you got into the ring then the count-out stopped completely, but whatever... and lets be honest, they wouldn't have John get a straight loss from Truth. The guy who got the drink in his face was probably one of the better actors the WWE has hired recently, because he actually did look all paternal and protective and everything, and John going to help the guy was just so John haha. Apparently, ridiculously, when RAW went off the air the GM beeped in with a message and said that if Truth apologised live on RAW next week for his behaviour concerning the fans and everything, then he could have his title shot. Somehow I doubt that that's going to be a thrilling match, and if Truth out of anyone gets the WWE title then I'm probably going to stop watching RAW in protest, and to be honest I aren't even kidding >.>.

I see what you guys mean though, rereading it all before posting. But sometimes, posting my ideas, before I've fully articulated them, IS my method. I apologize if that gets on anyone's nerves. Just give an old haymaker to the neck if it happens again. I can take it now. I think...
