Sighing deeply, Kyle Broflovski looped his backpack strap over his one shoulder as his shoes sloshed through the cold snow. School wasn't sounding too appetizing right now. Growing up he hadn't minded being the smartest in class, but now in high school the workload got to him. He didn't have the socializing time that he used to with his friends.
Namely, with Stan. They'd been friends since the redhead could remember and he couldn't imagine life without him. Stan was a constant. The fact that he'd be at his side was like the fact that South Park would be covered in snow, or his little brother would be annoying; it never failed to be predicted.
"Stan!" He called once the bus stop came into view. The redhead sort-of jogged the last few paces and smiled breathlessly at his best friend. He wasn't too sure why he wanted to see him so badly lately, but he did and Kyle was never one to deny his urges. Tucking a stray lock of hair behind his ear as he bounced up the strap of his backpack for what seemed like the millionth time, he offered Stan a grin. "You get all that Chemistry homework done, dude? I was still working on it at eleven. It's so fucking weak..."

"Oh that I have" Stan tells him." I finished around midnight...Then fell right to sleep". Stan tells him.
He smiled happily at Kyle. He wasn't sure what it was lately. Being around Kyle made him feel happy. No matter what kind of mood he was in. As soon as his blue eyes land on Kyle. Stan's happiness would appear. He could swear at times he could hears his own heart beating for joy as well.
He had told himself these were feelings of friendship. Deep close and happy friendship. Was there more to these feelings? Best to keep them all locked away inside.
There were other matters right now. Recently he had gotten a letter and call form Stanford College in California. He gotten full ride there for Foot ball and Law Enforcement. Full Ride! It would be great. Yet he be away from Kyle. So so terribley far away from him. The thought of leaving Kyle hurt Stan deeply. He really wanted to go. His parents said this wasn't something Stan should give up. It was great chance for him. For his future. Great Future! But whats the Future if there no Kyle in it.
Stan smiled at Kyle. For now he just keep this to himself. Till he found the right way to tell Kyle.

"It's all ridicules." Kyle grumbled, and coughed into a closed fist. Not much had changed since childhood, and he still was impaled by common colds hitting him at least once every two months. Lately he hadn't been able to stay home and recover, but at the same time that only meant that there would be more school work waiting for him when he returned.
Kyle babbled on, blissfully unaware of Stan's college news. Honestly, he'd been suspecting that the other got in somewhere good (Stan's academics were never the best but he'd been studying up lately) and the redhead preferred to just ignore it. After all, the thought of leaving his best friend made him physically ill to his stomach. If he didn't think about it, it wasn't true, and for the moment that was good enough for him. "Have you seen Kenny and Fat Ass around lately?"

"Well I saw him this morning" Stan tells Kyle. " Kenny comes over and sleeps on my couch a lot. My parents don't care and neither do I" Stan shurgs. He glances over at him." Kenny doesn't like staying at his own place. We all know that" Stan states. He places hand on Kyle's shoulder out of habit. He contuines to speak" He left after breakfast this morning. Said something about Bebe and left..".
Stan shurgs and tucks his hand in his pockets of his brown leather jacket." So chances are he will or won't show up today" he tells Kyle.
Stan smiled gently at Kyle. He could spend hours at time smiling and looking at Kyle. Stan had to tell himself that would freak the red head out if he did. That was something Stan didn't really want to do.
Stan soon could hear the bus pulling up towards the best friends. Stan allows Kyle walk inside the bus first. Stan follows on in after him.
"I got..a Full ride next year dude..at Stanford College" Stan tells him all of suddent. He was sure Kyle had idea something was up already. He felt it was better to get it out now then later. "I just haven't said yes yet.." Stan bites on his lip. He sighs deeply.
He wasn't sure how Kyle would take this at all. It hurt Stan to think of the idea of leaving Kyle. He did admit he was excited about the college too.

"College..." Kyle murmured. Somehow he couldn't believe or process what was being said. Stan couldn't leave him, it just didn't add up right. Surely if Kyle begged he wouldn't be able to leave him... but that wasn't fair either. After all, Kyle was planning on leaving for college as well. He just hoped that Stan would be the one begging him to stay.
And at the same time he knew it was best for Stan. He wanted Stan to be happy in his future, and that wouldn't happen if Kyle held him back all because of a strong friendship. But could what they had now really be considered a friendship? He wasn't sure if it was normal to feel so absolutely devastated that Stan was leaving.
"Stan..." He murmured sadly, glancing over at the raven that had his arm against his shoulder only moments ago. He missed the warmth it gave him, but he didn't really want to reach over for him. "You haven't said yes yet? So that means you're going to say yes?"
Suddenly he wished Kenny was more reliable. He wanted someone else there with them, as if he could simply stop the future from happening.
"Stan," He repeated because he couldn't think of anything more to say. He knew there had to be something that would get Stan to stay forever, he just couldn't think of it. "I don't want you to go," He settled for the lame reasoning. Obviously he didn't, so he wasn't sure why he thought that would make Stan want to stay.

"Its a great future for me" Stan tells Kyle."But..Whats is the future without you" Stan places arm over the red's shoulders." Beside we have two years to really seriously worry about it".
"We only in the 11th grade" Stan tells Kyle and nods. "We will spend as much time together that we can"
Stan course also knew Kyle would go away to good college as well. He had always thought be himself begging Kyle not to leave him. If he gave up going to Stanford what other college could he get into? Kyle was more important to him than college.
"Today is friday" Stan brings up with grin."Maybe we can spend the whole weekend with each other." A grin comes cross his face and he adds, "Just you and I. How does that sounds Ky?".
Stan smiled as he thinks of things he could do with Kyle. The pichture of himself kissing Kyle came to mind. He wasn't sure why either where that had came from. For some reason it really didn't bother him. In fact Stan liked the idea very much. Question was would Kyle kiss him back if Stan tried. Stan knew Kenny would just say kiss him already. What if he does and Kyle pushse him away? As he thought this all Stan had no idea he was blushing a bit. Still having his arm around Kyle as well.

Kyle looked over at Stan's face, and offered him a slight grin. He was depressed at the thought of leaving Stan, but when the raven had his arm laced across his shoulders he couldn't stay sad. For some reason, he just loved being in his warmth - but the feeling of touching Stan scared him. He didn't understand why it mattered to him. And rather than feeling his stomach churn and his heart beat, he slightly pulled away. If Stan felt differently about him he had no idea what he'd do.
"I think it'd be fun. Maybe we can go, like, get something to eat, or drive out to Denver? Whatever you'd like," he said softly, trying to only think of the positive.

"Yea we could drive out to Denver dude" Stan says and nods his head.
Just as along as he was with Kyle he was truely happy. He was more happy with Kyle then he had ever been when with Wendy. Wendy sure was nice and a sweet girl. But she just wasn't the one for him. He thought so once. Now that has changed.
"We can take my car out there" Stan tells Kyle and nods.
Later that day durning school. Stan was happy it was the last class of the day. Just as Soon as it was over. The sooner he could hang out with Kyle all weekend.
Kenny had told him earlier why not try to make move on Kyle. Stan had said he wasnt sure. He was worried Kyle wouldnt feel the same way. Cartmen just called him few mean names. and also few girl's names. He told Stan to grow a pair and just do it. Maybe they were right. Kenny was but Cartmen..... Just no way was Stan agreeing with him.
Stan takes a breath as he pushes the door of his History door class room, open. Stan takes seat in the back row. The class room was pretty much empty expect for Clyde who was sleeping at desk in the middle of the room. Stan didn't bother saying hi at the momment. He was too busy thinking about Kyle to care really.
Stan sits down and takes out his skecth book from his blue back pack. He starts to draw in his sketch book. He was pretty good at drawing as well. Not too many of his friends knew this about him. To his friends, he was a jock, very strong foot ball guy and most of all, Kyle's best friend. They never guess Stan was artist too.

Kyle spent the day like he spent most school days; idly jotting notes into his notebooks for designated classes despite the fact that he already knew everything the classes were so called teaching. He could think of a thousand places he'd rather be sitting in class daydreaming about that night. He wanted to see Stan, he wanted to feel that twist in his stomach that happened whenever he was near him even if scared him.
Soon, the day passed. Kyle stood at his locker, loading his backpack with books he'd need for the weekend along with a few other things. With that all set up, he trotted over to Stan's locker perhaps a little too excited. The day had just been too long for him to stand being away for Stan. As weird as that was to say. "Hey, dude!" He yelped from down the hall. A quick glance told him that Kenny was making his way to Stan's locker as well. "You ready to go? Or wanna wait around a bit?"

Stan leans on his locker. He smiled softly at Kyle."We could go now if you like" he says warmly to him. All his attention was on Kyle. He didn't even realzie yet that Kenny was walking over to them. " You can even stay the night. Knowing us we will be out late". Stan tells Kyle and smiled.
He wanted to spend as much time with Kyle as he could. Maybe he even get brave enough to make a move. Maybe kiss him. Something he always has wanted to do. He told himself that tonight be the night he would tell Kyle his true feelings for him.
Stan then felt hand on his shoulder. He looks over to see Kenny. Stan could see his blonde hair friend smileing at him.

"Hey Kenny," Kyle greeted with a slight wave and small smile. Kenny hadn't changed a bit, sure, they didn't spend as much time together as they did when they were children. Kenny spent most of his time with Craig or Clyde, while Stan and Kyle were inseparable.
"Hey hottie," Kenny sent a playful wink to the redhead who rolled his eyes automatically. Kenny flirted with anything that had sexual organs, but when he was playful with Kyle it wasn't serious. Kenny caught the look Stan was sending him, sighed. "Oh, I'm kidding," he whispered for only Stan to hear.
"Shut up Kenny." Kyle huffed affectionately.

Stan places an arm over Kyle's shoulders, in protect manner."Whats up Ken?" He asked Kenny. He knew Kenny wouldn't make move on Kyle. Stan can't help but feel bit protect of Kyle.
"What are you three idioits doing?" Cartmen snarls as he marchs his way over to them."Marsh! Your giving me ride home!!"
"No way Cartmen! You can walk your fat self home"Stan huffs.
Cartmen whines in a protest."FINE!" He shouts at the taller boy. When Stan still just stood there and glared.
Stan shakes his head and watchs as Cartmen woddles off down the hall way. Stan then turns to look at Kyle and Kenny.

"God, you'd think he'd realize that when he's in a car, he's the only one that can fit." Kenny muttered as his eyes followed the fat boy down the hallway.
"Kenny, don't be mean." Kyle lectured even though he hated Cartman the most. He just sort of felt bad for the boy. He looked up at Stan who had his arm around him and blushed deeply. Absently he mentally reminded himself not to puke from nerves.
"Oh don't deny it, Ky. You like it rough and degrading. You wish I'd call you fat." He winked but Kyle brushed him off. "Fine. I'll go on to jock-boy." He reached over and tugged a lock of Stan's black hair. "Fuck? Tonight?" His eyes still held the joking gleam in them, but he wouldn't admit to only joking if either of the boys agreed. Truthfully, Kenny had his own eyes on a certain girl he was gaining the confidence to ask out. This was just his way of joking.

"You wish Kenny" Stan chuckles. Course knew Kenny was only joking. Stan did want Kenny to know, Kyle was Stan's and Stan didn't plan on shareing him. Stan did plan that night to make move and tell Kyle how he felt how he always felt for him.
Just himself and Kyle. Stan thought how would he start by telling Kyle how he felt? Or should he do what Kenny had told him to do. And just kiss Kyle. Stan looks over at Kyle for momment. Would Kyle reject him? Stan had to try.

"Kenny, we'd better get going." Kyle said with a slight smile. "Me and Stan were planning on heading out tonight. I don't wanna be late." He tugged Stan over by his wrist because for some reason he couldn't handle Kenny even pretending to flirt with Stan. Instead he wanted to retreat to where Stan and he could just be alone.
Kenny meekly waved, and started walking off towards Bebe and her other friends.
"Come on Stan, we don't wanna be late." Kyle mentioned as he tugged him along.
